Tajming vs Zoyya: what does the 'biggest' Croatian booking app really cost?
Marko Pejićfounder of Tajming
First, the thing I say in every one of these posts: I am not neutral. I am Marko, Tajming is my product, so read this comparison with that in mind. But precisely because it is mine, I cannot afford to lie. If I stretch anything in my favor, you will check two things on their site and write off both me and Tajming forever.
Zoyya is probably the first name you will run into when you search for a booking app in Croatia. A domestic product, a serious team, plenty of salons. It deserves a fair treatment, not a takedown.
Where Zoyya is genuinely good
Breadth of the system. Zoyya is not just a calendar. On the higher plans you get a fiscal cash register, e-invoices, card payments, gift vouchers, a loyalty program, a waitlist and group appointments. If you want one tool to run your booking, your billing and your marketing, Zoyya seriously tries to cover all of it.
SMS reminders. Tajming sends reminders by e-mail. Zoyya can also send SMS, and an SMS reaches even the client who never opens e-mail. That is a real advantage, with a price we will get to in a minute.
A free starting point. For a solo hairdresser with one calendar, Zoyya has a free plan with the basics. That is fair and worth knowing.
Visibility through their app. Zoyya has a consumer app where people browse salons and book. If someone new finds you there, that is an acquisition you did not have to pay for with an ad.
If a fiscal cash register inside the same tool is the most important thing for you, stop reading and go with Zoyya. Tajming does not have one and I will not pretend it does.
Where the math changes
Now the fine print, because the total cost is assembled from several parts. All numbers are from their public price list at the time of writing, so check the current ones before deciding.
The subscription grows with seriousness. The Business plan is 22 euros per month billed annually. The fiscal register, card payments and loyalty live on the Advanced plan at 40 euros per month. The things that make Zoyya special mostly live on the more expensive floor.
Reminders are billed per message. An SMS reminder costs 0.14 euros plus VAT, every time. A salon sending 200 reminders a month adds roughly thirty euros to the bill, every month, on top of the subscription. Reminders are where "22 euros a month" quietly becomes noticeably more.
Payments carry a percentage. Card payments through their partner carry a 0.5% fee, online payments a per-transaction charge. Not a big percentage, but a percentage: it grows with your revenue.
The marketplace works in both directions. The same app that can introduce you to a new client also shows your regulars the other salons around you. Your client relationship runs through their platform and their brand.
What Tajming does differently
Tajming is deliberately smaller and deliberately simpler, with one clear bill.
A flat price, nothing billed per message. Basic is 14 euros per month, Pro is 24 euros per month, with a free 30-day trial before either. Booking confirmations go out by e-mail on every plan at no per-message cost, and on the Pro plan clients automatically get a reminder the day before their appointment, also included. Nobody counts messages.
No marketplace. Your booking page carries your name, your logo and your brand color, and no other salon is shown next to it. The client you spent years earning stays yours.
Clients install nothing. Booking is a plain link: it opens in the browser, four steps, done. No app, no account creation, so even older clients manage without help.
New: phone notifications and worker profiles. Every new booking lands as a notification on your phone, even when the app is closed. If several of you work in the salon, each worker sees their own schedule on their own device and gets only their own alerts. And if you want the final say, turn on approval mode and bookings wait for your yes before they are confirmed.
Your data leaves with you. One click and you have a CSV with all clients, appointments and services. If you ever leave, you leave with everything that is yours.
Support is a real person. Built in Osijek, I reply the same day, in Croatian or English.
The comparison at a glance
Before deciding, everything in one view (data at the time of writing, July 2026):
| Criterion | Tajming | Zoyya |
|---|---|---|
| Price | 14 or 24 € per month | 0 to 40 € per month (billed annually) |
| Reminders | E-mail, included in the price (24h on Pro) | SMS at 0.14 € + VAT per message |
| Payment fees | None | 0.5% on cards via their partner |
| Fiscal cash register | No | Yes (Advanced plan) |
| Marketplace next to your profile | No | Yes |
| Client installs an app | No, a plain link | For the marketplace, yes |
So which one should you pick
Pick Zoyya if you need a fiscal register and payments inside the same tool, if SMS reminders are non-negotiable, or if you run a bigger salon that needs loyalty programs, gift vouchers and group appointments. Those are real advantages and my only counterargument is the price.
Pick Tajming if you run a small salon or barbershop, want clients to book themselves from a link without any app, want reminders without counting sent messages, and prefer one predictable bill over adding up a subscription, SMS charges and percentages. For most small shops I talk to, that is the whole story.
The trial is genuinely free for 30 days, setup takes about five minutes, and if it is not for you, export your data and go, no hard feelings.
